OPEN TO GUESTS FROM THE BEGINNING OF APRIL UNTIL LATE OCTOBER.
Beech Estate Woodland Campsite is Eco Camp UK's second off-grid woodland campsite. Located close to Battle in East Sussex the campsite consists of woodland pitches where you can pitch your own tent, and pre-erected bell tents which are simply furnished for a "wild glamping" experience.
The campsite is situated on the edge of a 600-acre woodland within the private Beech Estate and there is plenty of space for woodland activities including walks, mountain bike riding, den building, wildlife spotting and more. There is no electricity.
Each pitch has its own fire pit and grill for cooking over the flames and bell tent glampers will find barbecue utensils, cooking equipment, plates, knives and forks all provided in their bell tents. They will also have a low-level futon-style double bed with memory foam mattress, fold-out beds for extra adults or kids, camping chairs and a picnic table provided in the tent. A bag of logs per night of your stay is included with bell tent bookings too.
The site has compost toilets and flushing toilets, bucket showers and showers connected to the mains water supply.
Cars are parked away from the camping areas so there is a walk to bring your gear on site and we provide wheel barrows to help you do this. We have a low noise policy which means no amplified music at any time and complete quiet between 10pm and 9am. A warden lives on site.
Glamping - Weekend nights from £90 for 2 and mid week nights £75. Additional adults at £30 a night , children at £12 and under 3s stay free. Tent pitch prices are from £18 a night, £8 a child and infants under 3 free.
