The exciting new summer 2017 pop-up campsite will be located on a secluded field in the heart of West Hoathly, West Sussex. Offering the opportunity to wild camp in style and luxury in the authentic British countryside within reach of London. There is a free pick up service from East Grinstead station.
The new location is truly off the grid, the chance to digital detox and get back to nature. You’ll find a woodland forest on site with wild deer, quaint little pubs within walking distance, farm shops nearby for all your campfire cooking essentials, everything you need for an unforgettable camping experience.
The site features luxury 4 and 5m bell tents, with chopped wood for campfires available on site, providing a great place to snuggle up at night as you warm yourself by the flames. Each luxury tent is fully furnished and includes double bed with memory foam mattress, cushions, candles, outdoor festoon lights, chairs and kitchenware. Dogs are allowed but must be kept under control on site. The site facilities are simple, running water and toilets.
Campers can enjoy and explore many sights and activities available locally including Blacklands Farm, Deers Leap Park, Ashdown Forest, Pooh Corner, The Priest House Museum, Wakehurst Place, and Bluebell Railway Station. Nestled a short 45 minutes drive from South London, and 37 minutes via train from East Croydon this site is easily accessible without a vehicle.
Freedom Camping offers 5 beautiful bell tents with all modern furnishings so guests can enjoy a comfortable and luxurious holiday. The 4 metre bell tents sleep 2-3 adults (4 at a squeeze), while the 5 metre tents can sleep up to 3-4 adults (5 at a squeeze). Airbeds are provided for additional guests. Fresh bedlinen is included. Bring your own towels.
There are no power points. Recycling bins, toilets, and running water on site. The tents are without electricity. Chopped wood for campfires can be purchased on site or at the time of booking.
Breakfast hampers are available.
Dogs welcome on a lead with a charge of £25 per booking.
Prices start at £200 for a 2 night stay for 2 people and from £340 per tent for a 5.
