Norfolk Glamping Holidays is a purpose built glampsite in the heart of Norfolk offering quirky accommodation in 3 beautiful Mongolian Yurts and a 1960's Goods Carriage.
The site is located in the village of Yaxham just 2 miles from the historic market town of Dereham which is known as the heart of Norfolk. Norwich is under 20 miles away with its many shops and lots of attractions including Norwich Castle and Museum. There are also plenty of pretty towns and resorts on the coast worth visiting.
Norfolk Glamping Holidays offers 3 traditional Mongolian Yurts, 2 of which sleep 5 people and the other sleeps up to 6. Each yurt is individual with bright colours and beautiful paintwork plus lots of hand painted woodwork. All 3 yurts are insulated with wood burners, radiators and electricity. They each have a double bed plus futons and a kitchen area with gas cooker, grill, crockery, cutlery, etc. Outside each yurt is a fire pit, BBQ and seating area.
There is also an original 1960's Goods Carriage which sleeps up to 4 people on a double bed and a double futon. It is a genuine Box Van of the Lincolnshire Railways which is fully insulated with electricity and a wood burner. There is a kitchen area with gas stove, grill, pots, pans, crockery ... and outside is a decked area with seating, BBQ, fire pit and a hammock.
Prices range from £100 for a 3 night stay in low season - £350 in high season.
Dog friendly site. The owner's live close by so no rowdy guests please.
