Parrandier - The Old Church of Urquhart

Urquhart by Elgin
UK

Check Availability Ask a Question

'Parrandier', Bed and Breakfast within The Old Church of Urquhart is found at the heart of the area known as The Laich of Moray. The Laich lies in the shelter of the Grampian Highlands and is well-known for its dry and sunny climate.

Your spirits lift as you approach the edge of the small village of Urquhart and spy the inspiring 70ft tower of the church. On top of a small hillock the church offers open, uninterrupted views of the beautiful countryside...close to the Highlands and to the Sea!

The converted church dates back to 1843 and is a B-listed building. Conceived in the perpendicular style of James Gillespie Graham it is situated in a superb rural location 5 miles from Elgin.

Dinner is available if booked in advance (3-course set menu for £14 per person at 7 pm), as well a good range of beverages.  You can order a packed lunch or hire a bike for £7.

There is accommodation for up to 16 people within a double en-suite, twin with private bathroom, a family en-suite and a self-catering apartment.  Or each can be booked separately.  Prices start at £60 for one night for 2 including breakfast, and from £350 for 7 nights in the apartment.
