Somerset Yurts offers 5 beautifully furnished yurts set on a working dairy farm at the foot of the Quantock hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Watch the cows ambling back and forth from the milking parlour past the yurt field and enjoy the freedom and peace and quiet of the Somerset countryside. A great eco-friendly rural retreat for couples or families.

The site is 5 miles north of Taunton, the county town of Somerset. A selection of welcoming cafes and restaurants which use local produce are within easy reach. Explore the stunning surrounding countryside, visit nearby museums or travel slightly further away to the North Somerset Coast.

Each of the 5 luxury Mongolian yurts are 19 foot in diameter, display a splash of colour and have a double bed as well as a double futon. A cot-bed for smaller guests can be provided upon request. The maximum number that can sleep in the yurt is 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 or 3 children. Outside each Yurt is a picnic bench, BBQ, and gas camping stove. Guests have use of a fully equipped communal kitchen/dining area, and a bathroom with hot power showers. The Dutch Barn contains 2 large dining tables - each seating 10 people, a cooker, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, chopping boards etc. Plus there is a games corner with a selection of games including giant jenga, board games, playing cards, books, colouring pens and pads. For the summer there is a BBQ found in the large outdoor sheltered area.

Prices during low season are as follows -£250 for 2 nights over the weekend, £300 for 3 nights. A 2 night stay midweek is £150, midweek 4 nights is £250 and the cost for a full week is £500. High season prices are - Weekend 3 nights: £350. Mid-week 4 nights: £350. A full week: £700.

No pets due to the nature of the working farm. Bring your own bedding. Bedding can be provided for a small extra charge of £20 per bed.
