Spain Website | Reviews: 1 | Contact Accom Vagón Rural is a train carriage placed alongside a country house close to the city of Murcia. The plot in which it is situated is surrounded by lemon trees and other fruit trees in a quiet area. The carriage has been transformed into an apartment with a double bedroom, a kitchen, shower and WC, sitting area (where up to 2 children could sleep) with a TV, heating or air-conditioning, a courtyard outside and parking space. The rural tourist accommodation is on a situated just 10 minutes from the city of Murcia, well connected by road, and close to IKEA, the large commercial and leisure centres and the beautiful university and monastary buildings and the theme park Terra Natura. It is set amongst rural land and fields and its interesting to find this green area so close to the city. There are national parks for hiking around Murcia and beaches at La Manga. The carriage is the type ORE-1 from the spanish company RENFE and dates back to the 50s. Prices start at €45 a night for 2.

Close to city of Murcia

We stayed in this interesting old railway carriage which is converted into an apartment in the garden of a family house. There are 3 carriages there but currently only one has been restored. There is space to relax outside and a parking space (you do need a car to come here) and although it is a short drive into the city of Murcia you are in the countryside. It is good for a base to explore the area, and reduces the costs of being in the city itself.
