Or venture inside the lodge into the comfy lounge area with 3 seater leather sofa and woven poufs and, an extra touch, a chest filled with games, books & bug hunting kits.

At the heart of each lodge is a wood burner which keeps the lodge warm year round and can also be used to cook with. There is a small gas ring, a fully equipped kitchen, complete with double Belfast sink & solar powered fridge/freezer. The kingsize master bedroom, twin bedroom & an unusual double cabin bed are adorned with luxurious bed linens, all seasons duvets and a hot water bottle for extra warmth.

The lodges have their own ensuite bathroom with a roll top bath/shower mixer, washroom and a very private "woowoo" (loo) accessed at the rear of the lodge via its own bridge. Hot water provided on demand and all bath linen available on request. Eco-friendly bath products and basic essentials (loo roll & soap) are provided.
