Description

2 or 4 nights offered mid-week and 3 night weekends.

Handbuilt, luxury treehouse, Black Wolf sits high up in the boughs of the trees near Bratton Clovelly and offers a perfect retreat for those looking to get away from it all. Sleeping 2 adults, this treehouse is a great way to make romantic memories! Enjoy outdoor bathing under the stars.

Black Wolf has been made from locally sourced sustainable timber and in an effort to reduce impact upon the wood it was constructed using traditional ropes and pulleys. With access via a rope bridge, the magic starts with that first step. A large deck area lets you take in the surrounding countryside before stepping inside.

The spacious open plan area is carefully separated by furniture giving the feel of individual rooms and the bi-fold doors let the feel of outdoors in. The fully equipped kitchen lets you cook up a storm whilst the woodburner keeps the treehouse cosy. Here you can relax with a game or book with the person you love before entering dream world in your king size bed.

For the ultimate in relaxation, slip into the outdoor hot tub style bath and take in the sounds of nature around you or try and spot a shooting star.

Outside the treehouse, take time to explore the 13 acres of Wolf Wood. Embrace your inner child and have fun splashing in the river or spotting the local wildlife. Why not pack a picnic and take advantage of the picnic and barbecue areas that can be found throughout the wood. Locally you can visit the stunning Dartmoor National Park or the ruins of Okehampton Castle. Alternatively take a drive to  the North Coast and visit the seaside town of Bude, ensuring you try a typical Cornish pasty or Cream Tea.
