The Directory of Unusual Places to Stay
Hi all! Today we are going to showcases some of our favourite "follies". A folly is described in the dictionary as "an often extravagant picturesque building erected to suit a fanciful taste". Well, that also comes securely under the quirky umbrella!
We have quite a few listed in our directory here; Add a folly stay to your travel bucket list!
The Temple, located in the Cotswolds, has a romantic, mysterious story behind it; Legend has it it was used as a secret hideaway by a married Reverend to meet his gypsy lover. It is now a beautifully renovated location, perfect for a romantic or a calm, family holiday.

Hello fellow hikers!

Wonderful Wellies have put together a great graphic (click Read More to see it) to suggest the best walks in the Peak District so you can make the most of the area. I hope you find it helpful!

If you are like me, you will love to explore in nature and take in some fresh air. It´s the best way to find time for a good natter (away from a screen) and work up an appetite for a well-deserved hearty evening meal.
