The Cabin on the Lake is a unique and wonderful place to stay. A soak in the outdoor hot tub adds to the experience - letting you feel at one with nature. The cabin sits on the banks of a small lake on Gwalia Farm. Sit out on the decking with a cool beverage from the powerless fridge and watch the wildlife pass you by. Take a trip in a canoe and paddle silently around the island or even stop off for a picnic. Rest in your own, private wood-fired hot tub at the edge of the lake, then dip in the cool waters if you are feeling hardy.

The kitchen is under a long overhanging roof so you can cook in the outdoors whilst always staying dry. There is a wood burning stove inside and plentiful supply of firewood. A sumptuous double bed has soft, warm down duvet and Egyptian cotton sheets - blankets and hot water bottles at the ready if you want too.

There is an outside table, chairs and firepit, plus a fold down table and stools for inside dining if necessary.

Make use of the solar shower and unique, private Swedish style composting toilet (with a view!) A traditional shower is available in the farmhouse (by arrangement as water is heated by solar/wood).

Prices in low season (1st Nov - 31st March) start at £250 for 2 nights midweek and from £345 for 3 nights on the weekend.
