Craighead's Glamping Howf's are unique in their quiet country setting, surrounded by natural gardens, a lochan and woodland areas. The Wee Howf and Summer Howf are both perfect romantic getaways which boast woodburning stoves to keep you cosy in the evenings and stargazing windows which are perfect for the clear nights!

To book one of the Howfs please go to the Website link above where you can make an online booking.

Both ‘howf's' have wonderful views, sunsets and privacy, yet thanks to the location they are ideally placed to base yourself for easy access to some of Scotland's finest country and tourist attractions.

The Wee Howf is completely secluded with amazing views of the lochan and countryside, while the Summer Howf is secluded amongst the trees at the very top of the garden alongside the pond with only the ducks as your neighbours!

The Wee Howf is a pleasant 200m walk from the water's edge. Enjoy views over the Ochils, or watch the fish jump in the lochan. The Wee Howf is fully insulated with a log burning stove and candlelight - there is no electricity - but you will be provided with everything you need to make this an amazing place to stay at any time of the year. Make use of a pulley system to keep your wine chilled in the 'fridge in the burn'.

The Wee Howf has shower/compost loo and kitchen facilities all in a mini version of the Wee Howf attached to it, lovingly known as the Wee Wee Howf.

The Summer Howf is furnished to give you a feel of camping but most definitely in a garden style. Complete with its own electricity and a delightful sleeping cove with stargazing window you can idle away hours staying cosy from the wee woodburning stove. A delightful canopy covers the patio area where you will find everything you need in the camp kitchen. When the sun shines take the picnic blanket and lie under the amazing Ash tree only disturbed by the ducks and birds. With a distinctly European feel, the Summer Howf is furnished tastefully with all you will need and more! This property has access to The Wash Howf which is a 50m stroll from the accommodation. It contains a hot shower, toilet, washing up area and fridge/freezer.

There is plenty to do in the area with great access to main roads and railway, but if you don't feel like leaving your Craighead Howf you can just enjoy the grounds and gardens of Craighead. There are a variety of friendly animals from Highland cows to miniature donkeys and Soay sheep, that will keep you amused!

Craighead also offers accommodation in a luxurious 5-star holiday cottage for 6 - Craighead Muckle Howf - with its very own sauna and hot tub.

You are asked not to smoke in the Howfs and pets cannot be accepted. Craighead Howf is an adult only holiday getaway. For Glamping you will be provided with all your bed linen and towels, the Muckle Howf, of course, includes everything.

Prices start at £1380 for a weeks stay in the Muckle Howf, with short breaks available at certain times of the year. The Wee Howf is £125 per night with a minimum 2-night stay. The Summer Howf is £105 per night with a minimum 2-night stay and is only available for bookings between April and October.
