If you want your only neighbours to be the nearby cows and sheep, and the only sound the sigh of the breeze then this is the perfect place for you. Simple and eco-friendly this hut offers you the basics for a quiet life. Inside you can find a comfortable double bed, eco toilet, wood burner for that cosy feel and gas stove with kettle for that morning cuppa! Take time to enjoy the pleasure of a morning stroll through the fields before returning to sit outside the hut and simply enjoy the view.
There is no Wi-Fi and there is simple solar panel electricity in this hut so it is the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with your loved one. Dig out that book you have promised yourself you would read or play a good old fashioned board game!
Locally you can visit the splendour of the Galloway Forest Park - home to dramatic ancient woodland, magnificent scenery and an astonishing range of local wildlife. Whether walking, cycling, fishing, driving through the woods or just relaxing in the tearooms, the Galloway Forest Park has something for everyone. Alternatively take a boat trip from Girvan to the uninhabited island of Ailsa Craig where you can see one of the largest gannet colonies in the world, and maybe a puffin too!

Price is £60 per night for 2 people. A continental breakfast is available to order for £7.50 per person. No pets. Open from June - March. (Closed for lambing season).
During the summer months it is possible to pitch a tent alongside for extra guests at a cost of £5 per person.
