Luxury group glamping site with 4 safari tents with hot tubs and Miller's Cottage close to Cardigan. Min 3 night stay. Dogs welcome.
WE NO LONGER FEATURE THIS ACCOMMODATION ON QUIRKYACCOM.COM - but do have many other wonderful places. Take a look!
Located in the County of Ceredigion, there is plenty to do locally. The town of Cardigan is only a 15-minute drive away and here you can visit the Cilgerran Castle and enjoy the views over the incredible Telfi Gorge. Or why not visit the beautiful coastline and enjoy a coastal path walk, winding up at holiday town of New Quay, where you can look out for dolphins from the comfort of a harbour cafe. The site itself runs alongside the river Ceri, so you can also relax sitting by the river watching out for the local wildlife, or spend a few hours fishing.
There are 4 safari tents, with 3 sleeping up to 6 in a separate king-size double bedroom, twin bedroom and Scottish cabin bed and 1 safari tent sleeping 8 in two king-size bedrooms, a bunk bedroom and full-sized double cabin bed. Linen, duvets and towels are included and all boast luxuries such as wood burning stoves which double up as ovens, en-suite bathrooms with a shower and indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. If you just want a quick cuppa, there is a gas ring for boiling the kettle and a coolbox for supplies. The lounge area has a sofa and bean bags to relax on, and a dining table for mealtimes. Guests can enjoy the comforts of a hotel with the tranquillity of the countryside.
NEW in 2019: In addition to the safari tents, you can also now stay in Miller's Cottage, a luxurious self-catering cottage. Featuring a cosy open plan lounge-diner with a log burning stove, Miller's Cottage offers space for families and friends to relax, in a home from home setting.
Guests can relax in one of the 3 hot-tubs! Teifi has a Scandinavian hand-made wood-fired hot tub whilst Ceri and Camnant both have modern bubbling hot tubs. If you are staying in Aeron or Miller's Cottage, then a hot tub can be booked with a view across the fields for an extra fee.
On-site, guests can play on either of the new Disc Golf Courses for free.
A thoughtful touch is a welcome pack - milk in the cool box and a supply of tea, fresh coffee and sugar. Other supplies can be pre-ordered.
There is a Cafe Bar on-site with Wifi and a children's wooden play fort. Food is available all day and the pizza oven is frequently fired up for guests. Well behaved dogs are welcome - a washable plastic dog bed (three different sizes available) is provided but please remember your dog's favourite blanket!
Arrival days are Mondays and Fridays. Prices start from around £565 for a 3 night weekend or a 4-night mid-week break and from £875-£1400 for a week for 6 people.
