Fernhill Farm is an eco-friendly traditional livestock farm in Compton Martin, Somerset. The farm specialises in home grown food, educational visits, different types of workshops, and a unique holistic approach to all kinds of functions, events and conferences. They offer group accommodation up to 16 people in converted barns. There is accommodation for smaller groups in the quirky Arks and there is also a camping field for additional guests.

The farm is eco-friendly as it runs on solar power and is connected to a wet system. The family running it want to create a self-sustaining farm with its own supply of home grown products from the Kitchen Garden and a selection of excellent meat, wool and eggs.

For small groups the new Arks are ideal. There are 3 Arks each sleeping 4 people with access to the Saloon for amenities. For larger groups there are various 17th century barns which have been lovingly restored to a high standard. Within these barns are Wren Cottage and Hive Hall which together can sleep over 30 people in a selection of king and queen bunk beds.

Adjoining the barns are facilities such as a large kitchen; dining room; lounge bar; 2 wetrooms with wheelchair access and 2 washrooms with 5 toilets, 4 power showers, wash basins and mirrors. These include tours of the farm; farming, gardening and wildlife visits; shearing courses; craft workshops; etc.

The Kitchen Garden at Fernhill Farm is an old quarry that has been cleared and landscaped. It now consists of rocky terraces, raised beds and a pond for its wildlife. This garden is where the owners grow fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs and salads which are used along side the farm's fresh meats to create delicious meals for guests.
