Sleep overnight in this Victorian residential library and enjoy the peace and tranquility that it offers. Located just outside of Chester in North Wales, this unique accommodation is ideal for the bookworm, student or just those wishing to get away from it all.

Based in the countryside village of Hawarden, the Library is close to many amenities including the Gladstone Estate, where you can enjoy a stroll around the castle woods and follow it up with a visit to the Farm shop or the local pub The Glynne Arms.

The library offers 26 boutique rooms, most of which have ensuite facilities. There is no television in the bedroom, instead you can bring books from the library back to your room to enjoy of an evening, along with the use of the tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are decorated simply with lovely bookshelf effect wallpaper, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathroooms suitable for disabled access on the ground floor however the other 24 rooms are on the first and second floor and there is no lift available. No pets permitted.

The price for a double room is £95 and includes a continental breakfast. Discounted rates are available for students upon showing their student identification and for single standard. An onsite bistro offers an evening meal at an additional cost.
