Stay high in the trees in a hand-built luxury treehouse with double jacuzzi bath on the outside terrace, near Bratton Clovelly. Pure romance!
Can't fault this beautiful treehouse which is spacious, stylish, fully equipped, fully warmed by large woodburner and very romantic. Totally private, surrounded by woodland, birdsong and sound of the stream below.
We had heavy rainfall and it didn’t matter at all and when the sun did emerge we opened up the bi-fold doors. The hot tub bath on the terrace is under cover.

Handbuilt, luxury treehouse sits high up in the boughs of Wolf Wood near Bratton Clovelly and offers a perfect retreat for those looking to get away from it. Couples can enjoy a romantic break and enjoy relaxing in the large outdoor bath style 'hot tub' together on the terrace!
The treehouse has been made from locally sourced sustainable timber and in an effort to reduce impact upon the wood was constructed using traditional ropes and pulleys. With access via a rope bridge, the magic starts with that first step. A large deck area lets you take in the surrounding countryside before stepping inside the treehouse. The spacious open plan area is carefully separated by furniture giving the feel of individual rooms whilst the bi-fold doors let the feel of outdoors in. A woodburner keeps the treehouse cosy and here you can relax with a game or book with the person you love.
The treehouse has all the mod cons you need whilst offering a back to nature experience. A fully equipped kitchen lets you cook up a storm whilst the treehouse has a king size bed with treetop views over the canopy of the forest, perfect for enjoying the morning sunrise.
When not relaxing in the treehouse, take time to explore the 13 acres of Wolf Wood. Feel like a child again and splash in the river or keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife. Be sure to pack a picnic and take advantage of the picnic and barbecue areas that can be found throughout the wood.
Locally you can visit the stunning Dartmoor National Park where you can enjoy a walk up to Widgery Cross or to Lydford Cross Waterfall, both of which have a pub nearby for a delicious meal afterwards. If you like a spot of history then the ruins of Okehampton Castle are worth a trip, alternatively head to the North Coast and visit the seaside town of Bude, ensuring you try a typical Cornish pasty or Cream Tea. If you wish to enjoy the self catering facilities then both the Strawberry Fields and Farmer Luxton's farm shops nearby offer a great range of fresh local produce.
