Relax in peace on a tranquil site nestled near the stunning mountains of the Spittal of Glenshee and the Cairngorms National Park in a cosy wooden pod with your loved one. Book a wood fired hot tub session for an extra treat at £85 for a day.

Inside the pod there is a comfy double bed with memory foam mattress for a great night's sleep plus a seating area and soft fleece blankets for extra chilly nights. There is electric heating too plus electric lights and sockets for charging your devices so you can stay connected to the outside world...if you so wish. 

Outside there is a decked area with rack for muddy boots and beyond that a picnic table offers the ideal spot for some al fresco dining. Of an evening you can light the firepit and warm yourself around it with some tasty marshmallows to warm you from the inside! 

Near to the pod you will discover bathroom facilities with showers, wc's and sinks. Plus The Bothy - which is a shared kitchen area with hob, small oven, fridge-freezer, washing up facilities and extra dining tables.  

For extra relaxation why not book a session in the hot tub! Sit back and relax in the wood fired Swedish tub which can be placed right outside your pod! Please enquire about this service. 

This family run site covers 10 acres and comes complete with llamas, donkeys, goats, ducks and chickens, all of which are very friendly. If you can drag yourself away from the peace and tranquillity of the site then there is plenty to do nearby including kayaking and canoeing, archery and guided cycling trips. If you prefer a quieter activity then book a course at the nearby Woodland Skills Centre where you can learn spoon carving, bushcraft, willow weaving and coppice crafts to name but a few. And of course during the winter, the site will be covered with beautiful snow and you can take to the slopes with skiing, snowboarding and toboganning at Glenshee. 

No children. A maximum of 2 dogs welcome at an extra cost of £5 each per night.

What extras can I order?

A late check out, fire pit pack, wood burning stove pack, bed linen bundle and bed making service.

Do the beds come with linen?

No we ask you to provide your own linens and towels or you can order them from us.

What do I need to bring with me?

Sensible shoes (wellies in winter), bedlinen + towels, torches and food.

Are there shared bathroom facilities?

They are shared facilities, but absolutely 5*. We have 5 individual units with toilet, shower and sink – plus separate toilet and washing up facilities. They are very close to the pods (maybe 5 to 10 metres)

Are there any restaurants near the accommodation?

The Glenisla Hotel and Restaurant is really good and is just a short 10 minute drive away.

Where can we do our shopping?

There is a local shop in the village called Kirkmicheal. For a bigger shop there is a Tesco's in Blairgowrie which is about 20 minutes away.
