Larkhill Tipis & Yurts is a family-run, award-winning campsite has spectacular views of the Welsh countryside and is located on the edge of woodland on a 20 acres smallholding in West Wales. There are 5 different nomadic 'glamping experiences: an Alachigh (an Iranian structure), a Mongolian Ger, a Bentwood Yurt, a Lavvu and a Native American Tipi. Each of these has its own 'space', separated by mature shrubs and trees, and all connected by hand-made stepping stones. Larkhill also offers many healing and massage treatments such as Omni Kriya and energy massages for an extra fee.

Relax by a glowing campfire by night, looking at an endless sky of stars and waking to the sound of birdsong. This is a quiet location, well away from busy roads and not far from both the Carmarthen Bay and the Cardigan Bay coastlines.

If you are looking for a child-friendly, relaxed and sustainable alternative holiday, look no further. The entire campsite is run by alternative energy - wind and solar - and a new hydroelectric system. All normal camping paraphernalia is provided. Just bring your sleeping bags, some food, a towel and a torch.

The Yurt, Ger and Alachigh are types of yurt from around the world offering a perfect magical space for the whole family. They have beautiful rugs, lanterns, comfortable beds, sheepskins, big cushions, pillows and plenty of blankets. There is a log burning stove, which you can cook on, and a 2 ring gas stove. A small wooden table and chairs are provided along with cooking equipment and a good supply of firewood.

The Tipi and Lavvu both have woodburning stoves, comfortable beds, rugs, sheepskins, lanterns (and LED lighting), large cushions, pillows, blankets, table and chests. Both have a fire-pit, trivet and picnic table outside.

For use by all guests is a log cabin with full-size Calor gas cooker with an oven, a wood-burning stove, low energy power for mobile phone charging, a sink, a central table and it has also been made cosy with lots of cushions to sit and chat to fellow guests. There are 2 hot showers, a tiled compost loo and a standard flush loo too. Children can enjoy the play area on the edge of the woodland and den-building is encouraged!

All cleaning products are environmentally friendly, and they supply eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, soap and clothes washing products. There are also recycling facilities on site.

All accommodation sleeps up to 4 guests with the exception of the Alachigh which can sleep 6. Nightly rates are between £70-£110. Weekend rates go from £160 to £220 for Friday and Saturday night. Weekly stays from £500-£650.
