Lazybed Cabin Accommodation

Lochinver, Highland, Scotland

Two individually designed, secluded and quirky one bedroom cabins at Inverkirkaig with wonderful views.

WE NO LONGER FEATURE THIS ACCOMMODATION ON QUIRKYACCOM.COM - but do have many other wonderful places. Take a look!

Lazybed and Batbox, located on either side of the owner´s house, are two unique cabins in beautiful surroundings, near the coastline of Assynt and some of Scotland´s most iconic peaks.

Each cabin sleeps 2 people maximum. They are built utilising only renewable Scottish timber, guaranteeing a cosy atmosphere and the least possible impact on the environment. Sheep´s wool insulates the cabins, hot water is provided and each cabin has a wood-burning stove, making the cabins warm and welcoming also when the weather is cold.

Lazybed consists of a bedroom that can be prepared either with a king-size double bed or as twin, a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin and a spacious deck area with views of the sea loch and the peninsular of Rubha na Breighe. High ceilings and 3 metre front windows create an open and luxurious atmosphere.

Batbox has a double bedroom, an additional enclosed deck, panoramic view, lounge, fully equipped mini kitchen and wet room with toilet and wash hand basin.

The cabins are surrounded by woods and garden, bicycle and kayak hire are available locally and beautiful locations like the Falls of Kirkaig and the Suilven peak can be visited by foot from here.
