Perfection

What can I say about Lincoln yurts? To sum it up in one word it would have to be perfection! The yurts itself are all very individual in style, decorated & styled to the best quality from the mattresses to the bedding to the the furniture, everything matches the chosen theme for each yurt. Each yurt has its own log burner which us lovely. We have visited in all seasons & even in mid november you are not cold. The yurts are so well insulated they are so cosy. In the simmer time or if its a lovely bright & dry day you can have the yurt roof open which i find just wonderful, layibg in the bed looking up into the sky, i can honeslty say is the perfect way to relax & recharge the batteries. We have stayed in 3 of the yurts & it's impossible to choose a favourite. In the past we have state din the oriental or Mongolian yurt as they both have power to them but this time we decided we would try a different one so we booked the French yurt. Truly amazing, I did wonder how I would get on with not having power as I have mobility & health issues but I can honestly say we didn't miss it. The recently updated kitchen & bathroom blocks are as you would expect dine to the highest standard with the most amazing showers which had multiple features from various water outlets, massage features, nice lighting & music if wanted. You would think glamping on a field with an equestrian site next door you would find grass here there an everywhere but the whole place is immaculate for.t he yurts themselves to the individual bathrooms & kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of crockery, a kettle, toaster, microwave & fridge freezer as well as tea & coffee to make a brew whenever you fancy one. If you don't want to cook your own breakfast then Darren or Kath will deliver a piping hot breakfast at you chosen time in the morning. The breakfast are amazing value and a fantastic start to any day. They also offer a vegetarian or vegan option if required (best to pre order before arrival to ensure stock availability). Each if the 5 yurts all have their own toilets & washrooms now which is lovely, they are less than 25 away from whichever yurt your on and they are all identified by the names in the doors which I feel is a nice personal touch because normally on camp or clamping sites they have communal toilets.
Each yurt also has a fire pit, bbq & furniture to sit outside the yurts.
AS I said earlier in my review, I have health issues & although Lincoln yurts isn't set up as disabled(wheelchair wise) friendly due to it being on a field i find this place the best medicine going. I usually go for 2 or 3 nights at a time & I always come back with a spring in my step & a lovely boosted feeling, far more than I've ever got from going on other holidays both abroad & in the uk.
If you haven't trued clamping before then this is the place to try, you won't be disappointed. Don't knock till you've tried it.
The best glamping I've ever stayed in

Kath and Daz are the most generous and friendly hosts while completely being themselves. The yurts are so cosy, each has a wood burning stove and there is a separate bathroom for each yurt a small walk away.

We've been twice and will be back again both times in the snow and we weren't cold for a second. The breakfasts are fantastic as well. Definitely recommended.
