Site offering a cabin (sleeps 2) and yurts (sleep 4) made from reclaimed materials near Padstow. Dog-friendly site. NEW PROPERTIES COMING SOON!!

Mill Valley have a small dog-friendly off-grid site in North Cornwall with yurts, quirky wooden Pixie Yurt, Woodland Cabin and a NEW Hobbit House, plus more new properties in the pipe line!

The Woodland Cabin is a wooden building made from local and reclaimed materials. It will sleep 2 only (no children in here!) and is situated on the edge of an oak woodland. Entering the cabin from its own garden area there is a porch or 'mud room' where you can hang your coat, leave your boots and dry dirty paws! There is also a small bathroom with a simple 'bucket and chuck-it' loo and wash basin with running water. The cabin also has the use of its own outdoor composting toilet just a short walk away. The main part of the cabin with its high ceiling and exposed oak beams is spacious, full of character and has everything you need for your stay. Windows on all sides make the cabin light and airy and means that you can take advantage of the woodland views. The cabin has a handmade kitchen area complete with sink, running water and solar lighting. It is heated by a large bespoke woodburner which is fitted with a stainless steel water tank so you can have warm water whilst the fire is lit. Next to the wood burner is a cosy corner where you can put your feet up and chill out on the leather sofa and take in all the handcrafted details of the cabin. The bedroom is situated on a mezzanine level which is reached by a chunky wooden ladder...fall asleep listening to the tawny owls and the peaceful sound of the weir below. Back downstairs there is a huge stable door at the side of the cabin which opens up onto its own private decked area which overlooks the stunning woodland...the perfect place for a cup of tea in the morning or a cheeky glass of wine in the evening.

The Pixie Yurt sleeps 4 and is a 16ft hand built tapered wall wooden yurt with a cedar shingle roof. It has a comfy double bed, double sofa bed and wood burning stove. Outside you can relax by the firepit and throw some sausages on the BBQ. Nearby is its own private compost loo!

The Beech Tree yurt sleeps 4 on a double bed and 2 single beds and is steam bent so extra high inside! Fully insulated this a great choice for winter breaks although of course the wood burning stove will keep you warm all year round! A clear crown cover allows you to star gaze at night so lie back on the rug and enjoy the view. Outside there is a firepit, perfect for roasting some marshmallows, plus a BBQ and its own composting loo.

Stumpy Hobbit is a handcrafted hut built around a living ash tree in a clearing in the woods. It offers a magical getaway filled with gorgeous soft cushions, flickering candles and tranquility. With a double bed (and space for 1 child), outside covered kitchen, woodburning stove and wood-fired pizza oven, you may never want to leave. However don't forget that the communal wood fired baths are just a short walk away!

There is a minimum 2-night stay. 5-7 night stays are offered during peak months (June - July - August) with shorter breaks possible off-peak. A weeks stay is from £300-£550. Dogs are free, and children 15 and under are free for short breaks. The larger yurts are family-friendly. The Stumpy Hobbit costs from £100 per night for a minimum 2 night stay.

Mill Valley Yurts offer an unusual and magical escape in this beautiful Cornish valley!
