A jewel of a gypsy caravan set in a wooded glade at the Kingsmead Centre near Taunton
'Bluebell' is a restored, early 1980's Showmans living van - complete with cut glass mirrors, lead crystal glasses and vases and art deco china as well as all of the usual brass and trinkets that one would expect to find in a Showmans home. She has a log burner and beautiful handmade Irish wool and silk throws as well as soft cosy duvets and pillows for guests comfort. She nestles on a quiet wooded site in the beautiful Blackdown Hills in Devon.
Bluebell is fully equipped to cater for up to 4 people - the seating areas convert into 2 double beds. All bedding is provided.
Everything for guests comfort has been thought of, including a picnic set, maps and binoculars and traditional games such as dominoes, cards and scrabble - all the ingredients for a wonderful country break underneath the sun and the stars! There is wifi and an ipod dock though, for those who can't quite leave the world behind!
There is an Award winning pub within two minutes walk and fishing lakes onsite for keen fishermen. The site is a magnet for wildlife and whatever the season, nature does not disappoint.
The price is £70 a night, and from £270-£455 for the week, depending on the time of year.
