The Boathouse is a charming self catering house for up to 8 located right on the River Dee in South West Scotland. Guests can enjoy fantastic views of the river, and why not bring your own boat or canoe! From the living area there are french doors leading onto the jetty and the 3 bedrooms have river views.
The accommodation is located in the historic town of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway. The town has its own marina and a working harbour plus there are several beautiful beaches within easy reach.
Just a 5 minute walk from the house you will find various galleries, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a museum. The town also offers a swimming pool, tennis courts and squash courts and a 5 minute drive will bring you to an 18 hole golf course.
The Boathouse offers an open plan space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 8 and a spacious lounge with 3 sofas, TV, DVD player and French doors which open onto the jetty with fantastic views. There are 2 double bedrooms and a twin/double bedroom plus 2 bathrooms and a utility room with washer/dryer.
There is a studio with separate entrance which can be used as a fourth double bedroom with en-suite or as a second living room with TV. Outside is a walled patio with outdoor furniture and seating as well as a BBQ.
Bedding and towels provided. 1 well behaved dog welcome. WiFi included. Parking available on the High Street. Wheelchair access to main entrance.

Prices range between £430 and £890 for a week for 6 people depending on the time of year. 1 or 2 additional guests are welcome for £30pp extra. Reduced couple's rates possible. Weekly stays generally, but a 3 minimum stay between November and March may be possible.
