Five, very private detached eco-lodges (one is a safari tent) with hot tubs set on a family farm providing a peaceful break for 2 in the Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire. From your own veranda, enjoy amazing sunsets - good for wildlife and birdwatching too (binoculars are provided).
The market town of Wallingford, home to Agatha Christie, is 2 miles away. The location is also great for walkers, cyclists and although rural, well placed for visiting Oxford, the Cotswolds villages, Henley on Thames and Blenheim Palace to name a few. It is also possible to arrange clay shooting locally.
Each lodge is south facing with a floor to ceiling glass front and a veranda to enjoy a sundowner. There is a king size bed, en-suite wet room with WC, fresh bathrobes, free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchenette. The private veranda has a hot tub, garden furniture, including a hammock and BBQ to enjoy your own locally bought food. There is a pond by the outside fire pit with seating where you can watch amazing sunsets.
Pedestrian only access to the lodges with luggage transported for you. No TV. No children or pets. 1 mile walk to the local pub and shop - a 20-minute walk.
Preferred 2 nights per lodge with a nightly rate of £165-£195. Stay a single night from £220.
