A great base in the heart of the Lake District offering wonderful views and stays in Hobbits Holes, glamping tents, cabins & pods.
The Quiet Campsite is found between Little Mell Fell and Ullswater in Cumbria and offers amazing views in all directions. Within 25 minutes drive from the site activities such as pony trekking, a miniature railway, sailing, hiking and even an outward bound centre.
The Quiet Bar, originally built in 1648 as an agricultural barn, is a great meeting place whilst staying in the Quiet Site. It offers a soft play centre for younger children, a pool table, air hockey and table football for older children whilst parents can relax and have a drink in the bar.

Suitable for larger families, the interior is 15m sq and sleeps up to 2 adults and 4 children! Inside there is a bench, table, heater, lights, plugs and USB charge sockets. The Camping Pods are wooden huts and sleep 2 adults or 2 adults plus 2 small children. These offer ventilation for the summer days and lamb's wool insulation for the chillier ones so are perfect all year round. They have a carpeted floor, heater, mains light and power point plus a terrace area for enjoying the views.
The Glamping Cabin offers more luxury for those that aren't quite up to camping yet. Each one has its one stone terrace and garden furniture and they share a garden area with sunken trampoline and children's 2 storey playhouse!
