Locally you can enjoy hiking on the Mendip Hills taking in the beautiful scenery. Alternatively take a trip underground to Cheddar Gorge or Wookey Hole or visit the historic cathedral city of Wells.
After a night enjoying the live music and your favourite tipple, why not rest your head in room 1 at the pub. With a comfy king size bed and gorgeous balcony this is a great place to wake up in with views over the river and surrounding countryside. The en-suite bathroom has a spacious walk in shower and the room benefits from mod cons such as a flat screen TV, music player, wifi and tea and coffee making facilities. Alternatively relax at one of the cottages that are only a short 10 minutes stroll from the pub. 1 Lawn Cottage has a traditional feel to it with an original stone feature wall in the bedroom, furniture reminiscent of days gone by, plus mod cons such as a TV, fitted kitchen, coffee machine, wine fridge and DAB radio. 2 Lawn Cottage has fabulous views of the Tor which you can admire from the small patio area. With a modern cool kitchen and large bathroom with bath and walk in shower this property benefits from the same modern conveniences as the first.
