This property has 2 single sleeping benches with comfortable mattresses and electric light and heating, perfect for those on a budget who are looking for somewhere basic to stay. Located right next door to a stable, with a friendly Welsh mountain pony, Millie, as your next door neighbour!
There is a large shared kitchen a few yards away with sink, fridge, microwave and kettle for your convenience. Why not order a ready made breakfast basket with sausage and egg baps (or veggie alternative), yoghurt, fresh fruit and croissants for that perfect start to the morning!
The modern shared wet rooms (which are only a short stroll away) have a unique fresh, farm style design, with plenty of hot water.
The farm is run in an environmentally sensitive way, working to conversation standards, encouraging wildlife to flourish and the soil structure to be healthy. Local wildlife is encouraged through a wide range of projects. The wetland project will help wildlife and also reduce flooding downstream.
The farm has a series of footpaths that allow visitors to see what is going on each season.
Locally there is a fantastic selection of restaurants in Crosby Ravensworth and the surrounding area including "The Butchers Arms" just a 3-minute drive or 15 minute stroll away, "The White Horse" - famous for its Friday night Pie and Pint, and a little further away "The Black Swan" which offers a seasonal trendy style of food. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy plenty of circular walking routes that encompass the site and cycling trails with gentle roads and steeper climbs.
One small dog welcome at a cost of £10 per night. No children. Please bring your own sleeping bags/duvets/sheets and pillows or hire a bedding pack for £6.
