A real off-grid "Tiny Home" for 2 guests situated in a quiet corner of a 14 acre private nature reserve on the edge of the Preseli Mountains, near the Pembrokeshire coastline. It is featured on Lloyd Khan's Shelter Blog and in the book "Tiny Homes made from Reclaimed Materials" having been a full time residence in the past for the owners Katy and Andy.
Tiny Home Experience is a spacious wooden hut featuring a high quality super-king sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage space, French doors, stable door and lots of windows (all with black-out blinds). It is great for watching wildlife or just drinking in the far reaching views down the valley. Outside there is a deck, seating and fire bowl (firewood provided) with outdoor kitchen.
The property has fully off-grid solar electrics including lights, pumped water, 240V power socket and USB charger. To keep the hut warm during the colder evenings there is all round sheep's wool insulation as well as a woodburner with kindling and logs provided. Guests have use of a private toilet and either a shared shower or a private 'bucket' or 'bush' shower! Books, local maps and games are provided. Bedding is included. There is a welcome hamper of fresh seasonal organic produce from the farm.
Also on site, collect eggs from the owners chickens, enjoy a spot of foraging or buy some organic fruit and vegetables from their farm. There is also a pick your own herb bed, perfect for the chefs amongst you!
Prices are £490 per week. 3 night short breaks are available for £75/night. It is also possible to camp in a different location on this site with a maximum of 6 people per pitch at a cost of £245 per week for 2 adults with additional prices for extra adults and children.
