The Cabin and Shepherds Hut at Tyn-y-Fron are ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia, North and Mid Wales and the Welsh Marches, and within easy motoring distance from the coast. Locally you can walk the Berwyn Mountains or large stretches of the Dee Valley, without using the car at all.

Your Shepherds Hut is equipped with all you need for a comfortable and adventurous camping holiday without the hassles of regular camping. Tea-making facilities are available in the hut and when you wish to cook you can use the spacious and welcoming Camp Kitchen. A wood burning stove ensures the hut stays warm and cosy. The hut sleeps 2 people.

Parking is adjacent to the shower block and kitchen about 60 metres from the campsite. They have a quad bike to assist with carrying luggage if need be.

The cabin is a snug and comfortable alternative to camping. There are bunk beds for 3 plus single futon if required. There are simple tea making facilities and a TV. The Cabin also uses the same Camp Kitchen and Shower block. You can park directly outside the cabin.

There is also a holiday cottage for 2, with views over the Dee Valley and the hills beyond, that was originally a stone barn. In the cottage and barn dogs are welcome.

Prices start in the shepherds hut at £55 per night with a minimum 2 night stay, and £45 per night in the Cabin. The site is open from April until the end of August. You can rent a camping pitch for a 2 man tent for £10 per night with £5 for an extra adult. The cottage can be rented out year round. Groups are welcome for 8 (or 10 with the cottage too.)
