Glamping site on a farm in West Wales near New Quay offers 3 beautifully restored wagons, all individual in style and decor that sleep 2 adults each. Closed in winter.

The site is set in a beautiful meadow with views over the surrounding countryside and woods. Locally you can enjoy the beach and harbour at New Quay and see if you can spot a dolphin. Alternatively head to the coastal town of Aberaeron and shop till you drop before hitting one of the many restaurants or pubs for lunch. Back on site, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the water buffalo that can be seen in the fields and lake!

The Showman's Home is an original 1940's wagon and offers 3 rooms, a bedroom, lounge with TV and woodburning stove plus a kitchen complete with baby belling cooker and other mod cons. The wagon has many of its original features and fittings including cupboards, feature mirror and gaslight fittings. A raised decking area in front of the wagon allows you to enjoy dining al fresco. There is a settee in this wagon that will sleep a young child.

The Gypsy Wagon is thought to date back to 1910 and looks wonderful with its bright red paintwork. It features all original features including the 5'2 bed, cast iron stove and chest of drawers. This property has no electric so runs with a battery light and camping gas stove so you can truly imagine yourself as a gypsy in bygone times.

Betsey Trotwood was originally a horse drawn tram from the 1890's and was later converted to a holiday home in the 1930's, possibly making her one of the earliest glamping properties. She has an open plan living and sleeping area and a kitchen with baby belling and other facilities.

All properties benefit from their own private shower room and WC just a short distance away. A gas BBQ and fire pit is available to use.

No children or pets. Open Easter - end of October. Minimum 2 night stay. Prices per night as follows: Gypsy Wagon £60 , Betsey Trotwood £65 and Showman's Home £75.
