West Lexham, near Kings Lynn, is a special and unique location with sustainability and creativity at its heart. It is a beautiful country setting in the 21 acre grounds of a private estate with treehouses and bell tents hidden in its woodland glades and gardens.

There are 6 beautiful treehouses, that sleep from 2 to up to 6, uniquely designed around the trees. Get cosy around your own log stove or join others around the big fire circle. Named Sunrise Tree House, Ash Tree Temple, Tinker Tree House, Owl Tree Temple and the new additions - Quercus Tree House and Tilia Tree House - they each have their own character and rustic chic style, including stained glass windows and colourful bedspreads.

Available for bookings all year round except Tinker Treehouse which is open between 24 February and 5 December. Made cosy with woodburners!

Quercus and Tilia sleep 6 and have the added comfort of heating, ensuite facilities, fully functional kitchens and are crafted from local materials. These treehouses can be booked year round.

Six luxury bell tents are colourfully furnished in a boutique camping style. They are 5m wide and the central pole is 7ft tall so you can stand and walk around in them. Each has a wooden bed, rugs, furniture and lights. Each tent sleeps 3 guests.

Available for bookings between Easter and 9 October.

The quirky outdoor bathrooms have reclaimed wooden doors and 1920s colours loos and basins. There are 5 hot showers, 6 loos and 4 basins so you shouldn't have to wait!

A garden kitchen to guests use was made from reclaimed materials is decorated with mosaics made from found objects. Various artist decorated the roof. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a woodfired pizza/bread oven. Alternatively food can be arranged for you.

Enjoy the garden by day and star gaze by night. The spirit of West Lexham is that glampers can meet each other, share stories around the campfire and food in the kitchen. Children can run around and play together in the ultimate natural setting. The boating lake, tennis court and grounds create a wonderful playground.

Food and meals are available on pre-order.

Reviews:
Absolutely loved our stay!
by Laura

My boyfriend and I have just returned from staying at West Lexham and have absolutely loved our stay! Although our tent was not what was shown in the pictures (It was a dark brown rubber texture as opposed to a white canvas) so I was a little disappointed at first when I arrived… however once night fell we both felt that we had the best tent as you could not see out lights were on… which meant the sun would not be too bright in the morning and we would have a lot more privacy as the would be now silhouettes! 
Our tent was next to the river and it was sooo beautiful! I have never been camping before and I wasn’t sure what I would find when we got there I was so so pleased at our accommodation and facilities!
I am not a nature lover however my boyfriend is! But even I have to admit watching the little Robins hopping around the tent and the House Martins woo’ing each other it was something out of a Disney film.
We had a little drama while getting into the onsite row boats… you have to jump into one the crawl over to the other and as I struggle standing up on land I was all over the place in the boat but once we got the knack of things we were off!
Overall I would give West Lexham 8/10, as although it is beautiful and we are thinking of going back!... you are very much left to your own devises! So if you’re after evening entertainment, a local pub (That’s within walking distance), TV, etc. I would advise you not to go. If you do go bring a pack of cards or something as there is little to do once you have walked all around, used the boats, tennis court and cooked dinner.
