Absolutely loved our stay!

My boyfriend and I have just returned from staying at West Lexham and have absolutely loved our stay! Although our tent was not what was shown in the pictures (It was a dark brown rubber texture as opposed to a white canvas) so I was a little disappointed at first when I arrived… however once night fell we both felt that we had the best tent as you could not see out lights were on… which meant the sun would not be too bright in the morning and we would have a lot more privacy as the would be now silhouettes! 
Our tent was next to the river and it was sooo beautiful! I have never been camping before and I wasn’t sure what I would find when we got there I was so so pleased at our accommodation and facilities!
I am not a nature lover however my boyfriend is! But even I have to admit watching the little Robins hopping around the tent and the House Martins woo’ing each other it was something out of a Disney film.
We had a little drama while getting into the onsite row boats… you have to jump into one the crawl over to the other and as I struggle standing up on land I was all over the place in the boat but once we got the knack of things we were off!
Overall I would give West Lexham 8/10, as although it is beautiful and we are thinking of going back!... you are very much left to your own devises! So if you’re after evening entertainment, a local pub (That’s within walking distance), TV, etc. I would advise you not to go. If you do go bring a pack of cards or something as there is little to do once you have walked all around, used the boats, tennis court and cooked dinner.
