Holly Farm Holidays, Yurt and Railway Carriage, glamping at its best in South Somerset

At Holly Farm Holidays you will find a genuine Mongolian Yurt and a converted Railway Goods Carriage - glamping at its best. All set in a beautiful rural location in South Somerset close to the Blackdown Hills. Full facilities provided with washroom/shower, toilet and cooking.

The Yurt is a genuine Mongolian one, decorated inside with traditional painted woodwork, it has a lovely clear crownwheel so it lets in lots of light or you can stargaze at night. It has a lovely cosy woodburner which makes it toasty warm even on the coldest of nights. Equipped with really comfortable double futon, table and chairs, subtle solar lighting and candle lanterns, its a very romantic setting.

Or there is also "Big Red", which is a converted Railway Goods Carriage, tastefully converted and furnished for a comfy stay, it's equipped with a lovely wood burner, dining table and chairs and comfy double sofa bed. It has full electrics, sockets and lighting. You can shut yourself in for complete peace or open up the big doors to bring the countryside in and have a great view out over fields and woods.

The farm is now run as a smallholding and has a range of animals - chickens, ducks, pigs and occasional turkeys, also a large vegetable area and polytunnel. Jason and Tracy try to maintain a self sufficient lifestyle and would welcome you to join them for a stay. They also welcome well behaved dogs.

Price for a 3 night weekend break and a 4 night midweek break is £195 per yurt. A week break is £325. Closed in winter. Short breaks form just 2 nights offered.
