This 10 acre retreat lies on the eastern bank of the Urubokka Oya. Open scrub land typical to the southern dry zone merges with river-side vegetation. They are gradually turning parts of the high ground back into a dry zone farm, whilst foresting other parts of the land.

The peaceful setting is found 15 km from Tangalle. There are 4 rooms in all for a maximum of 11 adults and 4 children. All rooms are rustic and stylish with part open attached bathrooms with hot water. The dining area is to be shared by 3 of the bedrooms which are generally rented together for a family or group.

Another cottage is suitable for a couple or family is set away allowing privacy. This has a sunken bath and its own dining space. Separate driver's quarters are available.

Plentiful custom prepared Sri Lankan and western meals are served. Tea, coffee and drinking water are provided free of charge.

There are many outdoor activities to take advantage of the nature all around. Bird watching, lagoon baths, fishing and boating, beach walks and cycling. Excursions to the nature reservations of Kalametiya, Rekawa, and Ussangoda, Wildlife Parks of Bundala and further down to Yala can be arranged as well as visiting historical temples in the area. Or simply slow down and relax on a seat under a tree and watch peacocks and buffalo pass by.

Prices start at around US$140 a night for 2 including meals and some local activities.
