4 Winds Lakeland Tipis in the beautiful English Lake District. The site has designated areas on the National Trust Low Wray Campsite, close to Ambleside and to the north of Lake Windermere. Within view of the historic and magnificent Low Wray Castle.
Watch the sunrise over England's largest lake and enjoy the magnificent views across the water to Wansfell Pike and The Fairfield Horseshoe. Situated on the western shore of Windermere, Low Wray is the perfect base for a whole range of outdoor activities. There are opportunities for gentle walks and great off-road biking from the campsite. The quiet country lanes will also prove attractive to cycle tourers.
Low Wray is ideal for watersports including windsurfing, canoeists and dinghy sailors, with on-site access for launching.
The tipis sleep up to 6 people and come with a fully equipped kitchen, raised wooden floors, carpets and rugs and a cosy wood burning stove. Low-level mattresses are provided with protector and freshly laundered sheets but guests need to bring own sleeping bag or duvet.
Prices at £210-360 for 3/4 night stay, and from £360-£645 for the week. Monday or Friday changeover days.
