“I started QuirkyAccom.com in 2011 to ensure you don't have to stay in an ordinary hotel again! We make it simple for you to search (use the icons), price and book unusual places to stay in the UK, directly with the owner. In doing so you are helping others as we give our profits to charities. There are no hidden costs or service fees added.” Jess CEO & Founder of QuirkyAccom.com
“A well run location for guests wanting a romantic getaway right by a river.
We took the walkway to our own compact but perfectly formed pod with hot tub on the terrace, set up for privacy. And even had breakfast there (they deliver a hamper) on the outdoor seating in February.

“This high tech hut has a good layout for a relaxing staycation with aircon and under flooring heating.
Make friends with the farm animals on site. A private hot tub and BBQ are alongside the pod.

“This is a unique pod made from an Airbus A320 plane with a real feel of being onboard.
There are authentic chairs with tray tables, windows with shutters like on a plane and other detail to stay on theme.
The cleverly converted space, with on site sauna and private hot tub, makes for a special experience.

“Unusual shepherd's hut conversion that makes for a comfortable stay for a couple with a pullout bed or foldout the bunks for a family - I liked this set up as it creates plenty of indoor space during the daytime.
This is set with another hut in lots of open space on a sheep farm, with tranquil views to a loch. The added bonus of this hut is the double indoor - outdoor bath experience which comes with robes.

“The large former abbey is set on the shores of Loch Ness and with the town of Fort Augustus a stroll away.
The historic apartments are set opposite each other (should you wish to book both). Climb to the vaulted bedroom for a historic night away behind stained glass windows, dreaming of a bygone era.

No fear of the cold here despite snowy months in winter as there is central heating too. This is a great base to enjoy hikes and even skiing.

“Authentic large luxurious log cabin in a river and loch side location. Great view from the large hot tub which can fit all (max) 6 guests.
Or you can sit in a raised pod by the loch's edge or take out a canoe or paddle board on the loch itself. We enjoyed our jaunt in a canoe here.

“As the kitchen and bathroom are not inside this shepherds hut you have more living space to spread out a little.
You take a stroll to a nice warm shower room and a little further to The Bothy which is a social kitchen / dining space.
It was a cold night when we checked in but once the woodburner was lit we were down to t-shirts and enjoyed the rustic experience in comfort.
