Day 41 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom visited Honey Tree Lodge in Kent, England.

Find out more about their visit:

Spacious terrace of lodge with hot tub and dining area

First Impression:

This is an amazing property - you are sure to enjoy your time here be it as a couple or meeting up with friends. Note this is an adult only accommodation.

This is not a party house - there are other accommodations on site to consider.

Unfortunately we missed owner Michelle whom we have worked with since 2017 but were pleased to have the chance to look around.

The Accommodation:

The lodge is spacious. You enter to a big kitchen, diner and living room with woodburner.

The master bedroom has a gorgeous copper bath. There is a second double bedroom and a large shower room. Two extra guests can sleep on the sofabed, for a total of 6 adults able to stay here.

Everything you see is inviting and to a high standard.

The outside space is appealing with large covered terrace with hot tub and outdoor seating, a sauna, lawn and the optional use of the Treehouse Snug.

Food and Drink:

There is a full kitchen where you can cook your own meals, so be sure to come prepared for self catering.

The Royal Oak pub is a short stroll away if you wish to dine out or you can venture to nearby Whitstable with its great range of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Jess' top tip:

Whitstable is a popular and quaint seaside town. But if you can, try and reach the quieter stretches of beach with colourful beach huts a little further at Tankerton Bay as you can see in the photo below.

You can also take a picturesque walk at nearby Cook’s Glade, Blean Wood or Keir Meadow Nature Reserve and explore the villages and coastline in the area.

Animal lovers will delight in a trip to Druidstone Wildlife Park which is conveniently situated next door!
