Tucked away in a beautiful valley within the North York Moors National Park, you can discover this lovingly hand built holiday hideaway for 2 set in a cottage garden. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire, or simply to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature.

The Den is a ‘tiny house’ yet feels light and airy due to its high ceilings. Imagine yourself curled up on the leather sofa in front of the adorable ‘hobbit’ log burning stove after a day of exploring. Cook yourself a scrumptious brunch or simple dinner in the compact, yet well equipped kitchen. There’s a fabulous digital shower in the en-suite and the bedroom (with king sized bed) has large picture windows with views across the garden toward the 11th century Church next door.

This little rustic retreat is located on the edge of Dalby Forest, it’s ideal for people who love the outdoors and walking/cycling. One of the darkest places in the country, the star gazing is spectacular on clear nights too! 

Wonderfully secluded, yet walking distance to the pretty village of Thornton-le-Dale where you’ll find shops, tea rooms and pubs, an ice cream parlour and a fabulous little bistro which is ideal for a special occasion. It’s a stunning location which you will and not want to leave!

The accommodation is not suitable for children. No pets. Please bring your own bath towels.
