Penny Rope offers 2 guests a unique experience in a prison cell themed chamber near the heart of Margate. The accommodation is a lowerground annex of a grade II listed Georgian period property.

The chamber is just a 2 minute walk from the sea. There are plenty of charming beaches and coves within walking distance or just a short drive away. Margate also offers many retro and independent shops and eateries.

Turner Contemporary art gallery is within walking distance and Sandwich golf courses are a short drive away. If you fancy a little drive, then be sure to head to the rolling hills of the Kent Downs where you can enjoy walking, biking and even horse riding. 

Penny Rope is accessed privately with a walled garden and the cell themed room with authentic feel - bunk beds, bars on the windows, old fashioned lock and key, and all the modern essentials.

There are comfy bunkbeds (11 stone weight limit on the top bunk) with white cotton linen plus tea and coffee making facilities. There are private bathroom facilities plus BBQ and fresh organic vegetables, fruits and herbs available.

Open beginning of April to end of October. Single night stays possible.
