Leave the hectic world behind. Experience the magic of Sydney Harbour from the privacy of your own room. Wake up to the tranquil, wild beauty of Sydney Harbour National Park. Visualise a rich past while enjoying the comfort of contemporary conveniences. Q Station is the ultimate way to experience this unique site, once the Quarantine Station with everything you could want in a getaway.

In 1835 the Quarantine Station began as a tented camp, with buildings soon being erected to house the large number of arriving passengers from ships carrying illness. As medical science and immunisation improved the need for quarantine declined until the last visitors in 1975.

To maintain this historic location 20% of the income created by tourism is reinvested to conserve the site.

The Heritage rooms retain some original aspects of accommodation, with their own bathrooms outside. There are ensuite bathrooms with the deluxe rooms and suites and some have harbour views. There are also Retreat Suites with a spacious lounge. Historic cottages have 3 bedrooms have harbour views, kitchenette and a backyard.

Massages can be pre-arranged. The Boilerhouse Restaurant offers fresh modern cuisine at the harbour's edge. Take a tour and experience 150 years of the Quarantine Station's history, including ghost stories.
