Not only will you be staying in a charming railway carriage but the village of Northiam provides a fantastic base for you to explore the local countryside and coast, with attractions and activities to suit everyone.

Both carriages are situated within Northiam Steam Railway Station, a working station on the Kent and East Sussex steam railway line. There is also the added extra of an elevated glass balcony giving you the opportunity to get the best view of the station, railway line, surrounding countryside and the beautiful sunsets.

The 1944 War Department vehicle, built by Charles Roberts & Co. is now a converted railway accommodation which comfortably sleeps 2 adults - plus 2 children if required. Amenities include a double bed, sofa bed, en-suite shower room/WC, TV with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, sink, multiple power sockets & heating for those chilly winter months.
