Beautiful converted windmill, just 400 yards from the sea near Mundesley, sleeps 2 people on the north Norfolk coast.

Locally there is plenty to do with The Norfolk Broads just a half hour drive away. Here you can hire a boat and be your own captain for the day, exploring the many beautiful villages that you pass through. Alternatively visit one of the many National Trust properties with their history aplenty and beautiful gardens. Or simply enjoy the local village with its many shops, restaurants and cafes.

The windmill itself has been lovingly converted over the last couple of years and now sports a beautiful extension which is linked to the original windmill through a glass walkway. You enter the property through the walkway and the kitchen diner can be found in the extension and benefits from all mod cons including a fan oven and electric hob, dishwasher and microwave. From here you can access the beautiful private garden, the perfect place to enjoy that morning cup of tea. Back through the glass walkway, you enter the original windmill and the cosy lounge on the ground floor. With an electric fire, 42" Freeview TV and DVD player and free Wi-Fi, plus a selection of games, you will enjoy snuggling up to your loved one in here. Up a helical oak staircase, you will find a dressing room area with open fronted wardrobe and bathroom with a rain shower. Climb the stairs to the top floor and your sumptuous bedroom, with a dressing table and 2 chairs. A ladder to the locked fourth floor gives a nod to the history of this building.

No children. No pets. Friday changeover day. Minimum 3-night stay with prices between £385 - £510. Price for a weekly stay is between £690-£995.

This property will be closed from April - September 2019 for renovation works when it will be brought back to working order and fitted with new sails.

My fiance and me had 3 lovely nights at Stow Mill. We arrived to a beautiful property with a welcome pack that was second to none, which included a homemade banana and walnut cake that would put a smile on anyone's face.
The property has been very well renovated and the attention to detail should be applauded. The owners, who happen to live next door, have made Stow Mill an absolute pleasure to stay in.
The village that it is situated in can be reached on foot in five to ten minutes, depending on your fitness and the route you take. It has a few pubs and shops that will meet many requirements.
Stow Mill comes very much recommended.
Thank you Roger and Andrea, it was a lovely experience to stay in such a locally historic building.

My wife and I stayed here in August 2018 for our wedding anniversary.......quite simply a fabulous weekend.

The Mill itself is absolutely delightful.....very tastefully renovated by Roger and Andrea (who are also a delight and excellent hosts) with absolutely everything that you would require and one of the best beds I have ever slept in other than my own !!!!

The location is excellent.......lots to do with lovely sea shore walks close by and plenty of places to eat

We will be back and cannot recommend StowMill highly enough....a terrific place to stay
Lots to like

If you like windmills, or historic buildings, or tall structures, or clever conversions, or views of the countryside, or beaches, or well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, or living in round rooms, or nice hosts, or envious looks from passers-by, or fun but relaxing holidays ... you'll like Stow Mill!
