Choose from between two - four beautiful botanical-themed rooms to suit your group including, two double - Fern & Willow and two single - Lichen & Silver Birch, each with its own unique character! Each rooms is filled with handcrafted pieces made from natural materials including luxurious wool carpets and mattresses, to organic & fair-trade cotton bedding & VOC-free eco-paints. As well as your own private room(s), you'll have use of a spacious bathroom, a downstairs living room where you can relax by a roaring fire, a dining room and your own entrance porch. All guest spaces - living, dining rooms & bathroom are shared only with others in your group. Please note, The Botanical B&B does not include a kitchen.
Morning feasts change with the seasons so depending on when you visit, you’ll be able to choose from; Fresh pancakes filled with homemade jams and wild berries, seaweed scones straight from the oven with local cheddar, Irish oat porridge drizzled with honey from the properties own hives, steaming souffles or hearty cooked breakfasts with organic eggs from their free-range hens. Breakfasts are vegetarian but vegan and gluten free options are offered too.
Guests get to explore the magical Garden of Re-Imagination ‘after-hours’ and make it home! Curl up in the hammock chair and gaze at dragonflies dancing over the half-moon pond, wander along the incredible stone stairway, say hello to the hens, lie out on the meadow lawn and while away the hours cloud spotting or star-gazing! Adventures aplenty to be had, exploring the beautiful Beara peninsula by car or walking the Beara Way trail, a short distance from the Botanical B&B. If it's gardens you're after, there are 25 to choose from around West Cork, including the world famous Island garden - Garnish Island as well as The Ewe Expereince, Irelands only interactive sculpture garden & natural history experience.
The Botanical B&B has been quality assessed & awarded the Failte Ireland Welcome Standard recognizing innovation, high quality & fantastic customer service & as well as the COVID-19 Safety Charter demonstrating that it has any necessary infection control & cleaning procedures in place to ensure the highest levels of comfort and safety of the guests. The Botanical B&B sits at a secret location so please note, the map location is approximate. Exact location, including full directions provided on booking. Three nights minimum stay. Infants or older children welcome, under 2yrs or 12years & up. Unfortunately no pets due to the delicate nature of many of the pieces on display. This is a tech-free space so no wifi or TV for a nourishing tech detox. No smoking.
