Yurtshire Fountains is an exclusive site offering 6 luxury yurts, all with private hot tubs in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This 'off-grid' site is a great destination for couples, groups of friends and families alike with yurts sleeping 2- 5 guests. It offers guests a fantastic opportunity to wind down, relax and simply enjoy the benefits of a Yurtshire break or to explore the stunning surroundings.

The handcrafted yurts all have steam bent ash beams and a unique round top solid oak door. The chic interiors are both rustic and cosy. Each is furnished with a double bed and both a double and single futon. In the true nature of sustainable living, the yurts are self-contained with their own private flushing toilet and hot water shower as well as being fully equipped with everything that you need during your stay including a wood burner, outdoor fire pit and communal BBQ, cooking facilities and utensils, outdoor table and chairs, rugs, coat hanger/wardrobe, bedding and towels. Plus your own private hot tub!

The yurts sit in a beautiful meadow with fantastic views over the countryside scenery. The site is just a mile from the world-famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Park World Heritage site and Ripon is only 3 miles away. Other nearby attractions include Harrogate, Newby Hall, Brimham Rocks and Bolton Castle. There are also many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.

There is a 2-night minimum stay and prices start from £130 a night for 2 people midweek.

Arrivals and departures on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. 

1-night stays permitted Sundays

Bank Holiday weekends are a minimum of 3-night stay (check-in Friday and check out Monday).

Winter stays now possible - minimum 2 night stay.

Dogs welcome in 2 of the yurts.

What should we bring?

All weather clothing, good walking shoes or welly boots. Also swimwear and towels for the hot tub.

Is there somewhere I can charge my devices?

We are an off grid site, so no there isn't. Bring battery packs for charging.

What hampers do you offer?

We have BBQ boxes, breakfast hampers and pizza dough balls to use with our pizza ovens.

I'm celebrating a special occasion, can you help?

Yes for an extra cost we can pre-light the hot tub and leave a bottle of champagne chilling for you as well as put up fairy lights and helium balloons.

Do you offer pamper treatments?

Yes we are teamed up with a mobile pamper company who can give a variety of treatments - massages, facials, pedicures, in the comfort of your yurt.
