Description

Step back in time at this gorgeous Suffolk cottage for 2, with private hot tub and enclosed garden, in a wooded meadow setting in the tranquil village of Stonham Aspal.

Inside you can find a gorgeous farmhouse style kitchen with an antique farm table, the perfect place to enjoy the delicious breakfast basket containing locally sourced products including eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. The kitchen comes with all mod cons including a Nespresso coffee machine!

Head on through to the cosy lounge with its comfy sofa, the perfect place to relax and snuggle up to your loved one. Here you can enjoy the free wifi, make use of the TV and DVD player or simply sit back and feel the warmth of the log burner radiate through you. This room benefits from a high vaulted ceiling with beautiful exposed oak beams so manages to combine the feeling of openness with cosiness in a very unique way. From here you can access the modern shower room or climb the hand-made timber staircase to the lovely mezzanine level bedroom with solid wood double sleigh bed.

Outside you can sink into the bubbles of the hot tub, enjoy dining al fresco on the terrace or cook up a storm on the BBQ! The enclosed garden offers a great place to sit with a book or that all-important morning cuppa!

Locally there is plenty to see and do with the coast and 2 areas of outstanding beauty just a short half-hour drive away. The waterfront at Ipswich offers bars and restaurants galore for those who don't want to cook, whilst the 12th century Framlingham Castle offers regular shows and exhibitions plus a cafe!

There are short and long break stays available with 2 or 3 night weekends with Friday arrivals, 4 night midweek breaks with Monday arrivals and 5 night midweek breaks with Sunday arrivals. Full weeks or fortnight stays can commence on Fridays, Mondays or Sundays.
