Quirky glamping + circus caravans with yoga, bushcraft + holistic therapies on site, near North YorK Moors Nat Park + the sea.

Baby Moon Camp is a cluster of yurts and circus caravans set in a peaceful space in North Yorkshire, near the North York Moors National Park and the sea. Each "Baby Moon nest" sleeps either a family of 4 or 5. The camp offers an array of therapies, activities and workshops. The full site is available to book for weddings, retreats and other celebrations.

There are 4 yurts - all with fantastical names like Frida (an homage to a Mexician diva), Enchanted (Gustavian chiq with a fairytale twist), Apothecary (a herbal retreat) and Oak which seems to sprout up from the ground amidst the trees. All come with a wood burning stove and the relaxing scent of myrhh. Three tiny houses, like gypsy caravans but larger, which can sleep either 4 or 5 continue this theme with names Shaman, Spirit Animal and Soothsayer. All are kitted out with duvets and pillows.

Each dwelling has it's own fire it and there is a communal fire which is often lit on fair evenings (bring your instruments!) The site has flush toilets with solar lighting, gas powered showers and warm running water. A torch, tea lights and lanterns are provided but you might like to bring your own head torch. Food from the Baby Moon menu and towel bales are available to pre-order.

Baby Moon Camp has an onsite reception and small shop with useful goods, gifts and a tea shop. A range of holistic therapies are available including Aromatherapy massage, Psychotherapy and Counselling, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Thai Yoga Massage, Osho Tarot reading, Meditation and Past Life Regression. Activities include an amazing choice of bush-craft and re-wilding workshops for adults and children such as fire and shelter building, greenwood carving, axe throwing, archery, woodland knowledge and campfire cooking. Other activities include seasonal crafts, felting and treasure hunts.

The price is £95 per night and you can contact the property for seasonal and mid-week discounts. Group bookings possible.
