Standard midweek rates per night for 2 people start from £80 in a 4-man unit. Weekends are reserved for whole site group or venue bookings and include use of all glamping units, the party barn, Dutch barn and facilities. Barnutopia is a fabulous venue for family gatherings and special occasions and hosted the first wedding ceremony and reception in August 2017.

Tanycoed Farm, just outside the village of Llansilin, Powys near Oswestry is home to Barnutopia, three Mongolian yurts, two stable, a shepherd's hut and a bunkroom. Glamping units are fully furnished with beds for 4 to 10 people.

Many guests choose to self-cater with some breakfasts and the occasional evening meal ordered from Barnutopia. The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes homemade pancakes, bacon, sausages, baked beans, scrambled eggs, toast, tea, coffee and orange juice at £7.50 each for adults.

Yurt Axana is a 7-metre yurt and can sleep up to 8 guests on comfortable beds. It is the most spacious of all the yurts.

Bronwyn is a 5-metre yurt and can accommodate up to 6 guests on beds.

Carianne and Nanny Iris are 4.2 metres and sleep up to 4 people on beds.

Stable Stephanie sleeps 4 in a king bed and double sofa bed. Located in the long stable block dating from 1892, Stephanie has power, lighting and heating as have the yurts.

Cabin Connie sleeps 4 in a triple bunk and single bed.

Ranch house Ray sleeps up to 7 guests.

Bunkhouse Bethan sleeps 10 on 2-bed platforms (4 over 6 places) with single mattresses. It has a seating area and dining table and chairs.

There are fire pits for campfires or cooking and a range of outdoor furniture available for use.

The lovely bathroom block has ladies, gents, disabled access and showers.

Smoking is allowed outside the yurts, tent, shared facilities and farmhouse.

Most weekends are reserved for whole site bookings; although we do odd weekends are offered for individual bookings so it's always worth asking. Individual units may be booked midweek. Reduction for single parents.
