Deep in the heart of Suffolk's stunning countryside, just a stone's throw from the historic town of Bury St Edmunds you can find a family run site offering the romantic Cedar Lodge, perfect for 2.

The Cedar Lodge is a cosy cabin situated in a wonderful woodland. There is parking outside for ease of unloading and it sleeps 2 on a very comfortable sofa-bed. (Please bring bedding and towels. ) The Cedar Lodge is dog-friendly and offers an open plan space with a well kitted out kitchen complete with oven, hob and microwave plus an ensuite shower room. Free wifi.

Outside you can cook up a storm on the mobile BBQ and enjoy your viewpoint of the forest from the seating area on the decking.

Locally you can visit the archaeological museum of West Stow Anglo-Saxon village, Abbey Gardens or Lackford Lakes. If you are after an adventure then High Lodge offers Go Ape Tree Top Adventures, which is suitable for all members of the family! 

The Cedar Lodge is from £65-£85 per night for 2 adults.

There is a minimum 2-night stay with Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday arrivals. There is a minimum 3 night weekend during high season and during Bank Holidays.

The Lodge is closed from Nov 30th - Dec 18th but open for Christmas and New Year. During January there are only 2 night breaks available with Friday arrivals.

Dogs welcome at a cost of £20 for 1 and £25 for 2.
