Chapel Studio, Downhead is a stylishly chic, romantic, small but beautifully formed old Methodist chapel dating back to 1863, tucked away in the small hamlet of Downhead a few miles from Frome in Somerset. It is in the middle of beautiful countryside on the edge of the Mendip Hills. This cute romantic West Country love-nest, close to wonderful walks and attractions, is simply perfect for romantic breaks with a difference.

There is a mezzanine bedroom, open-plan kitchen with free-standing double oven and hob, fridge, microwave, freezer, dishwasher. All the pots and pans that you need to cook up a yummy meal. Bed Linen, bathing products and towels are provided - along with milk, coffee and a selection of speciality teas. King-size bed with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen. Bathroom with shower over bath with towels provided. The Reading Room has a grand piano with a dining and sitting area. TV, a few games and books. A small, secluded garden for balmy summer evenings. An ideal retreat.

Places to visit: Beautiful Bath, Stourhead, Longleat, Cheddar, Wookey Hole. And the pretty surrounding villages of Mells and Nunney.

Dogs by arrangement. £25 each.

Babes in arms welcome, but please bring your own cot and bedding. 

There is a minimum 3-night stay and the costs are as follows:

3 nights - £345

4 nights - £440

5 nights - £550

6 nights - £600

Week - £690

Bank holidays £440 for min 4 nights. Christmas / New Year - £440 for 4 nights / £550 for 5 nights. August weekly bookings only please.

Do enquire for arrivals any day although it is preferred not to do changeovers on a Saturday or Sunday. But do enquire if they are the ony times that fit with your holiday.
