This location is…….
A peaceful place in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (A.O.N.B). It is a rustic, off grid smallholding with resident children, chickens, sheep, pigs, dogs and guinea pigs. It is an environmentally friendly place; the loos are waterless, electricity is minimal and we run where we can off rechargeable batteries and solar power. Most importantly this is a place where you can spend much needed down time with your family and friends and create memories for a life time.
The farm is not………….
A party place, a techy place, a noisy place. It has free range animals.

Gara Rock beach is about a 15-minute walk while the gorgeous sandy beaches of East Portlemouth are around a 25-minute walk away. Are there places to eat and drink?
The nearest place for food and drink is the cafe and restaurant at the Gara Rock Hotel. For most of the year, there is a small cafe by the beach at East Portlemouth while slightly further afield is a huge choice of places to eat and drink.Where is the nearest shop?
You can get supplies by going to Salcombe on the foot ferry where there are shops, or make the half-hour walk to Piglet Stores in East Prawle. Head by car to the amazing farm shop at Stokely, the garage at West Charleton or the supermarkets in Kingsbridge. Can we bring bikes?
There are lots of opportunities to cycle down here so bring a bike if you like. The hills can be quite steep though, and the roads narrow. We also have a selection of refurbished bikes that you're welcome to borrow.
