Haddy's Hut is a spacious, airy and bright, bespoke handcrafted shepherd's hut for 2. It is located on Oaker Farm in the heart of the Peak District with stunning views over Hope Valley. The hut enjoys a tranquil position and is ideal for those who truly want to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, switch off, relax and unwind.

Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic retreat, or a base to explore the local area it is important to have the perfect place to stay. Oaker Farm is perfectly sited to explore the area offering many footpaths straight from your door, good local bus routes and a train station.

The hut is light and spacious with all of the modern fixtures and fittings, including a warming woodburning stove, en-suite bathroom with fluffy towels, handmade fully equipped kitchen with full-size hob and a single oven with grill, comfy patio furniture where you can read the paper or your favourite book and if it becomes chilly light the fire pit. To bring it all up to the 21st century there is WiFi, a combined TV and DVD player and underfloor heating. The hut offers everything you should need, a rural retreat for all seasons.

Haddy's Hut is the ideal place for relaxing or the perfect base for exploring the area. There are many attractions nearby such as Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton, Hathersage, Edale, the Ladybower and Derwent reservations and the Stately Homes of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Eyam Hall.

The hut offers all the modern comforts you will need during your holiday. Facilities include underfloor heating, Woodburner, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, en-suite bathroom, quality linen and towels, parking, outdoor furniture, TV, DVD, books, games, DVDs and use of the laundry room.

There is parking close to the hut. No pets and no smoking allowed. Logs and coal available for purchase.

Prices start in low season at just £275 for 2 nights, additional nights at £70 per night. Peak season prices are £295 for 2 nights with £100 per additional night. For Christmas and New Year - price for minimum 4 nights is £495 with £100 per additional night.
